Meet Attorney George J. Cosenza
While his legal career has consisted of serving the Mid-Ohio Valley, Attorney George J. Cosenza was actually born in Brooklyn, NY, and was raised in nearby Edison, NJ. Attorney Cosenza fell in love with the Mid-Ohio Valley, as he attended Marietta College to pursue his undergraduate degree in history. After graduating from Marietta in 1973, Cosenza continued his education at the Ohio Northern University College of Law in Ada, OH. Attorney Cosenza earned his J.D. in 1977, and has been practicing law ever since. In his free time, Attorney Cosenza enjoys traveling, playing golf, and spending time with his two grandchildren.
Making an Impact in the Law and the Community
Some of the proudest accomplishments in Attorney Cosenza’s career are the many impacts he has made both in the legal community, and in his Mid-Ohio Valley community. Among his numerous legal accomplishments are, changing the West Virginia law on a number of occasions, and being the City Attorney for the cities of Parkersburg and Williamstown. Some of his community activities have included serving on the board of the Wood County Society, serving as President and board member of the Sons of Italy, and much more.
